Apple //c
In 1987, ik werkte ongeveer anderhalf jaar bij Visolux, kwam de Apple //c in de aanbieding bij de Maxis in Arnhem Zuid.
Collega Bert Futselaar, Apple II gebruiker, raadde mij destijds aan om deze aanbieding aan te schaffen. Ik wilde de machine in eerste instantie gaan gebruiken voor de administratie van mijn toenmalig bedrijf Music Wave.
Het betrof een set, compleet met de Apple Scribe printer en de Appleworks software.
Hoewel er op dat moment ook al muizen bestonden voor de Apple II serie, kosten deze een vermogen dus deze zat er niet bij.
Het heeft even geduurd alvorens ik de set heb uitgepakt en aangesloten, maar vanaf mijn tweede uur achter de machine, was ik om!
Ik ben Apple sinds die dag altijd blijven gebruiken.

Mijn eerste Apple, de //c
In 1987, I worked for Visolux BV at that time, there was a one-time only offer in our local megastore Maxis that hold the Apple //c.
My co-worker Bert Futselaar, advised me to get the set that was on offer. I wanted to use the machine for financial administration of the company I owned at the time, Music Wave.
The offer held a set, containing the Apple //c, the scribe printer and the Appleworks software. There also was an Apple II mouse available at the time, it was not held in the set, as they were really priceless at the time.
It took me a while before unpacking and starting my first work on the machine, but after I guess about two hours, I was hooked.
I have been using Apple ever since.
